River Marne

Spring 2015

Nogent sur Marne

PK 171

Large marina – caters mainly for cruisers but we did get in OK. Very helpful Capainaire. Good mooring for train to Paris – 10 minute walk to station and 30 minutes to Gare Magenta – next to Gare de Nord. we paid around €30 per night (17 metres) including water and electricity. There is also a small cafe / restaurant which is busy particularly at lunch.

Lagny-sur-Marne

PK 152

Generally good mooring, very near town centre and supermarket, Gare SNCF to Paris and Bus to Disneyland. Electricity and water – €3 each per 24 hours – set up at Office de Tourisme. 48 hour limit. A lot of turbulence from passing commercials but we found it tolerable as pontoon move with it. Probably better at the downstream end.
